Rack Mounted Power Distribution

JG SERIES
(Commercial)

JG Junior - Power distribution shall be the Juice Goose JG Jr. It shall have a 15 amp capacity and be rack mountable in a 19" x 1U space. It shall have 6 outlets on the back of the chassis and a combined master power switch and current overload, secondary protection device on the front of the chassis. The AC receptacles shall be oriented such that the grounding contact is at the bottom of the receptacle. Additional features shall include power surge protection across the hot and neutral leads.

JG 9 - Power distribution shall be the Juice Goose JG 9. It shall be rack mountable in a 19" x 1U space. It shall have 8 outlets on the back of the chassis in addition to a thermal, 15 amp current overload, secondary protection device. The front panel shall feature an unswitched AC receptacle and a lighted master power switch. Additional features shall include power surge protection across the hot and neutral leads. The AC receptacles shall be oriented such that the grounding contact is at the bottom of the receptacle.

JG 9NS - Power distribution shall be the Juice Goose JG 9NS. It shall be rack mountable in a 19" x 1U space. It shall have 8 outlets on the back of the chassis in addition to a thermal, 15 amp current overload, secondary protection device. The front panel shall feature an unswitched AC receptacle and shall NOT contain a lighted master power switch. Additional features shall include power surge protection across the hot and neutral leads. The AC receptacles shall be oriented such that the grounding contact is at the bottom of the receptacle.

JG 8LED - Power distribution shall be the Juice Goose JG 8LED. It shall have a 15 amp capacity and be rack mountable in a 19" x 1U space. It shall have 8 outlets on the back of the chassis in addition to a thermal, 15 amp current overload, secondary protection device. The front panel shall feature a) two slide out light tubes containing LEDs that may be turned on or off and dimmed with a control knob on the front of the chassis and b) a lighted master power switch. Additional features shall include power surge protection across the hot and neutral leads. The AC receptacles shall be oriented such that the grounding contact is at the bottom of the receptacle

JG 11-15A - Power distribution shall be the Juice Goose JG 11-15A. It shall have a 15 amp capacity and be rack mountable in a 19" X 1U space. It shall have a total of 11 NEMA 5-15R AC receptacles, 10 on the rear of the chassis and 1 on the front. One front and one rear receptacle shall be unswitched. The power cable shall be 15 feet long. The AC receptacles shall be oriented such that the grounding contact is at the bottom of the receptacle. Additional features shall include power surge protection across the hot and neutral leads.

JG 11-20A - Power distribution shall be the Juice Goose JG 11-20A. It shall have a 20 amp capacity and be rack mountable in a 19" X 1U space. It shall have a total of 11 NEMA 5-15R AC receptacles, 10 on the rear of the chassis and 1 on the front. One front and one rear receptacle shall be unswitched. The power cable shall be 15 feet long. The AC receptacles shall be oriented such that the grounding contact is at the bottom of the receptacle. Additional features shall include power surge protection across the hot and neutral leads.

RACKPOWER SERIES
(Professional)

RP100 - Power distribution shall be the Juice Goose RP100 (-15A for fifteen amp, -20A for twenty amp). It shall be rack mountable in a 19" x 1U space. It shall have 9 outlets on the back of the chassis in addition to one USB power port to provide 5VDC. Rear outlets shall be rotated and spaced to allow plugging in low voltage power converters. The front panel shall feature one unswitched AC outlet, a two function power meter to report power line voltage and load amperage and a USB power port to provide 5VDC. A lighted master power switch on the front shall also provide current overload protection. This power distribution module shall be housed in a reinforced, uni-body style enclosure.

 

AC Surge Protection and Filtration

RX SERIES

RX 30 AC line protection shall be the non sacrificial Juice Goose RX 30 Hybrid AC Power Filter. This unit shall be an AC power extension cord with NEMA 5/15P right angle plug on one end and three NEMA 5/15R receptacles on the other. It shall have a nominal maximum power surge let through of 10 volts on normal mode and 0.5 volts on common mode without producing contaminating voltage on the ground lead. High frequency AC filtration shall be equal to or better than 60 db on normal mode and 80 db on common mode. Other features shall include over voltage and wiring fault shut down. This line protection shall have a 10 amp capacity.

RX 50 AC line protection shall be the non sacrificial Juice Goose RX 50 Hybrid AC Power Filter. It shall be in an all steel, slim line enclosure measuring 1.75" x 9" x 9.5" with mounting flanges on two sides and three NEMA 5-15R receptacles.  LEDs on the front shall indicate power connection, external wiring faults and protection OK status. It shall have a nominal maximum power surge let through of 10 volts on normal mode and 0.5 volts on common mode without producing contaminating voltage on the ground lead. High frequency AC filtration shall be equal to or better than 60 db on normal mode and 80 db on common mode. Other features shall include over voltage and wiring fault shut down. This line protection shall have a 15 amp capacity.

RX 100 AC power distribution and protection shall be the Juice Goose RX 100 Hybrid AC Power Filter. This unit shall have be rack mountable in a 19" X 1U space. It shall have a total of 7 NEMA 5-15R AC receptacles on the rear of the chassis plus one receptacle on the front. Power protection shall have nominal maximum power surge let through of 10 volts on normal mode and 0.5 volts on common mode without producing contaminating voltage on the ground lead. High frequency AC filtration shall be equal to or better than 60 db on normal mode and 80 db on common mode. The front, bottom and back of the chassis shall be formed from a single piece of steel and the rack mounting brackets shall be reinforced steel. Other features shall include over voltage and wiring fault shut down.Current capacity shall be____ (fifteen amps "RX100-15" or twenty amps "RX100-20).

Custom Multiple Circuit Power Distribution

Power Sequencing and Remote Control

CQ SERIES

CQ 1 - AC power sequencer shall be mountable in a wall (or ceiling or enclosure) using standard trade hardware in a two or three gang enclosure. It shall feature one fifteen amp rated duplex receptacle which will turn on and off via remote control when connected to other Juice Goose CQ Series power control devices (or a remote latching contact closure). Connection to other remote control devices shall be by way of RJ45 cabling. This unit shall have the ability to integrate in a "daisy chain" manner with other power units in sequence before and/or after it. Actual current switching shall be by way of a mechanical relay. It shall have a single LED on the faceplate to indicate power to the control board and proper operation of the control circuitry.

CQ 50 - AC power sequencer shall be fifteen amp rated device with a detachable power cord to plug into available utility power. It shall be mountable on a flat surface using the product’s mounting flanges and shall not require a rack for installation. It shall feature one unswitched AC receptacle and two switched receptacles which turn on and off in one sequence event via remote control when connected to other Juice Goose CQ Series power control devices (or a remote latching contact closure). Connection to other remote control devices shall be by way of RJ45 cabling. This unit shall have the ability to integrate in a "daisy chain" manner with other power units in sequence before and/or after it. Actual current switching shall be by way of a mechanical relay. It shall have two LEDs on the enclosure to indicate status of the power Pod proper operation of the control Processor.

CQ 1515 - Rack mounted electric power sequencer shall be the Juice Goose CQ 1515. It shall feature one unswitched AC receptacle plus three fifteen amp duplex receptacles which will turn on and off in three sequence steps on a single 15 amp circuit. It shall not require a remote control device to operate but shall be capable of being activated by a remote, latching contact closure. This device shall also be capable of triggering other similar power activation devices. The sequencer shall have an override switch to turn on the unit in the event of failure of the main control circuit. Actual current switching shall be by way of mechanical relays of a minimum 30 amp rating. It shall also have LED indications that each sequence event is completed. Interconnection of this unit with other sequencers or trigger devices shall be by way of RJ45 cables and connectors. Additional features shall include AC line filtration and power surge protection across the hot, neutral and ground leads.

It shall feature one unswitched AC receptacle plus three twenty amp duplex receptacles which will turn on and off in three sequence steps on a single 20 amp circuit. It shall not require a remote control device to operate but shall be capable of being activated by a remote, latching contact closure. This device shall also be capable of triggering other similar power activation devices. The sequencer shall have an override switch to turn on the unit in the event of failure of the main control circuit. Actual current switching shall be by way of mechanical relays of a minimum 30 amp rating. It shall also have LED indications that each sequence event is completed. Interconnection of this unit with other sequencers or trigger devices shall be by way of RJ45 cables and connectors. Additional features shall include AC line filtration and power surge protection across the hot, neutral and ground leads.

 CQ 15__-RX - Rack mounted electric power sequencer shall be the Juice Goose CQ 15__-RX (either CQ1520-RX or CQ1515-RX) which shall feature AC power sequencing in addition to a maximum 1/2 volt surge let through on the ground and a maximum 10 volt surge let through between line and neutral. It shall also feature one unswitched AC receptacle plus three duplex receptacles which will turn on and off in three sequence steps on a single __ (15 or 20) amp circuit. It shall not require a remote control device to operate but shall be capable of being activated by a remote, latching contact closure. This device shall also be capable of triggering other similar power activation devices. The sequencer shall have an override switch to turn on the unit in the event of failure of the main control circuit. Actual current switching shall be by way of mechanical relays of a minimum 30 amp rating. It shall also have LED indications that each sequence event is completed. Interconnection of this unit with other sequencers or trigger devices shall be by way of RJ45 cables and connectors. Additional features shall include AC line filtration and power surge protection across the hot, neutral and ground leads.

CQ 2200 - Electric power sequencer shall be the Juice Goose CQ 2200. It shall feature two twenty amp duplex receptacle which will turn on and off in two sequence steps on a single 20 amp circuit. It shall not require a remote control device to operate but shall be capable of being activated by a remote, latching contact closure. This device shall also be capable of triggering other similar power activation devices. The sequencer shall have an override switch to turn on the unit in the event of failure of the main control circuit. Actual current switching shall be by way of two mechanical relays of a minimum 30 amp rating. It shall also have LED indications that each sequence event is completed. Interconnection of this unit with other sequencers or trigger devices shall be by way of RJ45 cables and connectors.

CQ 3000 - Electric power sequencer shall be the Juice Goose CQ 3000. It shall feature one thirty amp twist lock receptacle (NEMA L5-30R) which will turn on and off on a single 30 amp circuit. It shall not require a remote control device to operate but shall be capable of being activated by a remote, latching contact closure. This device shall also be capable of triggering other similar power activation devices. The sequencer shall have an override switch to turn on the unit in the event of failure of the main control circuit. Actual current switching shall be by way of one mechanical relay with two, parallel 30 amp rated circuit paths. The relay shall have silver cadmium contacts. The sequencer shall also have LED indications that the sequence event is completed. Interconnection of this unit with other sequencers or trigger devices shall be by way of RJ45 cables and connectors.

CQ PD1-4 - Rack mounted electric power sequencer shall be the Juice Goose CQ PD1-4. It shall feature four twenty amp duplex receptacles which will turn on and off in four sequence steps, each on an individual 20 amp circuit. Power input connections shall be by a four foot wire harness which shall exit from the top of the unit. The sequencer shall not require a remote control device to operate but shall be capable of being activated by a remote, latching contact closure. This device shall also be capable of triggering other similar power activation devices. The sequencer shall have an override switch to turn on the unit in the event of failure of the main control circuit. Actual current switching shall be by way of mechanical relays of a minimum 30 amp rating. Interconnection of this unit with other sequencers or trigger devices shall be by way of RJ45 cables and connectors.

RC5 - Remote control and monitoring of the power sequencing device shall be by way of Juice Goose model RC5. This device shall be mountable in a rack or on a wall or panel and shall provide a method for sequencing the AC power system up, sequencing it down or pausing it in either process. It shall require no secondary power supply. In a typical power sequencing system the remote control shall be connected only to a first power sequencing device and shall be the initial step in activating the system. Selection of a particular remote control model shall be determined by specific security and convenience requirements. In cases where access to the remote control location is limited to only authorized personnel, the model may be one with a rotary switch. In cases where the remote control location is available to unauthorized individuals a key switch remote control device shall be used. The remote control device shall feature lighted indicators for system operation and system status.

RC5-KPS - Sequencing operation shall require the user to enter a four digit code using the three push buttons on the remote control. Entering that code will sequence the system up if it is down or sequence it down if it is up. The code shall be changeable using a factory preset administration code.

SQ 1500 - Rack mounted electric power sequencer shall be the Juice Goose SQ 1500. It shall feature one unswitched AC receptacle plus three duplex receptacles which will turn on and off in three sequence steps on a single 15 amp circuit. It shall not require a remote control device to operate but shall be capable of being activated by a remote, latching contact closure. The sequencer shall have an override switch to turn on the unit in the event of failure of the main control circuit. Actual current switching shall be by way of mechanical relays of a minimum 30 amp rating. It shall also have LED indications that each sequence event is completed. Additional features shall include AC line filtration and power surge protection across the hot, neutral and ground leads.

Web Based Power Control

iP SERIES

iP 50 - Web based AC power control shall be the Juice Goose iP  50, mountable on a wall or similar flat surface using standard trade hardware. It shall feature two fifteen amp rated AC receptacles which can be individually controlled via Ethernet using the on board GUI web server, text based UDP or TCP commands or one of several AV control platforms. This unit shall also feature one unswitched receptacle. Interface shall control power on and off and report the status of each switched outlet (a.k.a. "POD"). When enabled, a power cycle feature shall check for network connection on a periodic basis by pinging a designated web site. If that ping is unsuccessful for a predetermined number of attempts the power distribution module shall automatically turn off and on power to Pod No. 1. This power module shall measure 1.75 H" x 9.0" W x 9.5" D.

iP 1515 - Rack mounted web based power control shall be the Juice Goose iP-1515. This unit shall be a fifteen amp power distribution module which can be controlled via Ethernet using the on board GUI web server or text based UDP or TCP commands. It shall also have RS 232 command and monitoring capability. The unit shall feature three individually addressable duplex receptacles on the back of the chassis, each able to be turned on and off independently of the others. Web based graphic interface included in the on board web server shall control power on and off and report the status of each duplex and the current load placed on it in a range from 0.20 amps to 20.0 amps. Similar control and monitoring shall be possible via RS232 protocol. The power cycle feature shall reboot a network router and/or modem. When enabled, a power cycle feature shall check for network connection on a periodic basis by pinging a designated web site. If that ping is unsuccessful for a predetermined number of attempts the power distribution module shall automatically turn off and on power to Pod No. 1. There shall be two over ride switches on the front of the chassis. One will cause a sequence up in the event external network connection is lost. The other will provide a short to the coils on each power relay to turn all outlets on in the event of an internal electronics failure.

This unit shall be an eighty amp power distribution module which can be controlled via Ethernet using the on board GUI web server or text based UDP or TCP commands. It shall also have RS 232 command and monitoring capability. The unit shall feature four individually addressable twenty amp circuits, each connected to an individual duplex receptacle, each able to be turned on and off independently of the others. Web based graphic interface included in the on board web server shall control power on and off and report the status of each circuit and the current load placed on it in a range from 0.20 amps to 20.0 amps. Similar control and monitoring shall be possible via RS232 protocol. The power cycle feature shall reboot a network router and/or modem. When enabled, a power cycle feature shall check for network connection on a periodic basis by pinging a designated web site. If that ping is unsuccessful for a predetermined number of attempts the power distribution module shall automatically turn off and on power to Pod No. 1.

UPS (Battery Backup)

KIN 1000 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the KIN 1000. It  shall be  a single rack space (1RU), voltage regulating UPS capable of powering a maximum 600 watt load for two minutes and a 300 watt load for ten minutes. It shall also feature AC line filtration and 320 Joules of AC line surge protection. 

SRA 07500 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SRA 07500. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), line interactive, voltage regulating UPS capable of powering a maximum 525 watt load for four minutes. It shall have a front panel LCD display to indicate UPS function and the status of batteries and the utility power source. Batteries shall be replaceable with an expected service life of three to five years.

SRA 10000 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SRA 10000. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), line interactive, voltage regulating UPS capable of powering a maximum 700 watt load for four minutes. It shall have a front panel LCD display to indicate UPS function and the status of batteries and the utility power source. Batteries shall be replaceable with an expected service life of three to five years.

SRA 15000 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SRA 15000. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), line interactive, voltage regulating UPS capable of powering a maximum 1,050 watt load for four minutes. It shall have a front panel LCD display to indicate UPS function and the status of batteries and the utility power source. Batteries shall be replaceable with an expected service life of three to five years.

SRA 20000 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SRA 20000. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), line interactive, voltage regulating UPS capable of powering a maximum 1,400 watt load for four minutes. It shall have a front panel LCD display to indicate UPS function and the status of batteries and the utility power source. Batteries shall be replaceable with an expected service life of three to five years.

SCV 10001 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SCV 10001. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), on line, double conversion UPS with a 0.90 power factor, capable of powering a maximum 900 watt load for three minutes and a 450 watt load for ten minutes. It shall be capable of remote control via RS232 or network connection with an optional web card and of additional battery run time with the attachment of external battery modules.

SCV 15001 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SCV 15001. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), on line, double conversion UPS with a 0.90 power factor, capable of powering a maximum 1,350 watt load for three minutes and a 675 watt load for ten minutes. It shall be capable of remote control via RS232 or network connection with an optional web card and of additional battery run time with the attachment of external battery modules.

SCV 20001 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SCV 20001. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), on line, double conversion UPS with a 0.90 power factor, capable of powering a maximum 1,800 watt load for three minutes and a 900 watt load for ten minutes. It shall be capable of remote control via RS232 or network connection with an optional web card and of additional battery run time with the attachment of external battery modules.

SCV 30001 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the SCV 30001. It  shall be  a two rack space (2RU), on line, double conversion UPS with a 0.90 power factor, capable of powering a maximum 2,700 watt load for three minutes and a 1,350 watt load for ten minutes. It shall be capable of remote control via RS232 or network connection with an optional web card and of additional battery run time with the attachment of external battery modules. Installing this product shall require special 30 amp electrical service.

SL 350 - UPS Battery Back Up shall be the Juice  Goose SL 350. It  shall be slim line design measuring 7" x 9"  x 1.25" and shall be capable of powering a maximum 200 watt load for six minutes.
