The CQ and iP Series are very similar in external design features but differ internally. The main function of each is to turn AC power on and off with remote access. Each series has several models with features to provide flexibility in application and user interface.
CQ SERIES sequencers are designed for installation in a house of worship, school or similar venue where simplicity of installation and operation are required. Linking units together requires no programming or setup. Once a CQ piece is networked with a remote control device or another CQ, sequenced turn on and turn off is automatic. Installation is plug-and-play easy. Yet, the breadth of CQ model designs makes the series very adaptable to either small or large venues.
iP SERIES models provide AC power control over local, intranet or Internet connections. These units are more sophisticated to allow operation without distance limitation. They're compatible with control systems from QSC, Crestron and many other vendors - as well as ad hoc control created using simple text commands over TCP/IP or RS232 links. In addition, each has an on board web server which presents a simple graphical interface using any common web browser.
While the CQ Series products can be remotely activated with any contact closure, Juice Goose produces RC-5 accessory line is an economical remote control and monitor device.
The RC-DM1 is an economical and convenient interface between an alarm control panel and a Juice Goose CQ Series power sequencing product or network of products.
The easy to install RC-DM3 can control a CQ Series power sequencing system from up to three independent, remote locations. Plus, it provides easy to install forced sequence down in the event of an alarm.
Juice Goose produces the RC5 accessory line as an economical option for power sequencing remote control. Any RC5 operates any Juice Goose CQ Series power sequencer. The RC5-KPS fits in a Decora faceplate. Three button operation controls a CQ power sequencing product or network of products.
In its unpowered state, there is an internal contact between the C (common) and NC (normally closed) terminals on the unit. When 120VAC power is applied to the power cord, connection is opened between C and NC and closed between C and NO (normally open).
The SQ-1500 is an economical power sequencer for single rack applications when local or remote control is required. Remote activation with a latching contact closure makes installation and operation simple and efficient.
